Terri Harrah

An Upstate native, Terri Harrah grew up in Simpsonville, graduating from Hillcrest High School in 1975. After attending Greenville Technical College, Terri began pursuing a career in the banking industry.
In 1989, while continuing her 17-year career in banking, she began teaching group exercise at the Greenville Hospital System’s Life Center. This included instruction in step aerobics, low impact weight training, spinning and water aerobics. In 1994, Terri obtained her Personal Trainer Certification from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She later teamed with a fellow personal trainer at Body Basics, LLC, a fitness studio in Simpsonville, where she continued helping her clients achieve and maintain active, healthy lifestyles. In January of 2004, Terri began training with local PEAK Pilates Instructor, Clare Dillon-Palma. It wasn’t long before she began witnessing Pilates literally transforming her entire body, as well as those of her clients. Now, as a Certified Instructor in PEAK Pilates, Terri continues to share her passion - the gift of Pilates - with clients both old and new.
In addition to her 15 years as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, Terri has always been personally active in sports and outdoor activities. Some of her interests include cycling, horseback riding and animal rescue. Terri’s family is very active as well - her husband, Mike, is an avid runner and golfer, and her 16-year-old daughter, Brittany, enjoys water-skiing and playing volleyball at Eastside High School.
